The Mitutoyo 700-126 plastic caliper is a digital caliper with upper and lower jaws for inside and outside measurements from 0 to 150 mm/0 to 6”. Easily-read digital LCD characters and durable plastic construction make this caliper useful in a wide range of settings, including nurseries, medical offices, laboratories, and trade workshops. This caliper has accessible zero-setting and on/off function control buttons and uses both inch and metric measuring systems.

The 700-126 has the electrostatic capacitance type linear encoder. It measures inner (ID) and outer diameter (OD). Its inch/metric system uses a 0.001”/0.1 mm gradient. The caliper’s length is 235 mm, jaw depth is 40 mm, sliding LCD is 60 by 34 mm, and beam width is 16 mm. Calipers measure the distance between two opposing sides of an object. They make inside, outside, depth, and/or step measurements, according to their type. Calipers are commonly used in architecture, metalworking, mechanical engineering, machining, manufacturing, carpentry, and medicine.
